Newborn Welcome Baskets
[vc_column_textTo help provide support and education, we offer Newborn Welcome Baskets to parents whose child has been diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease. Our baskets include a water bottle, heating pad, thermometer, a blanket, socks and hand mittens. It will also include a Sickle Cell Disease pamphlet that will provide information about SCD, how to care for a child with SCD and the importance of maintaining a care plan for their child. We will also provide information about our foundation and the services we offer to the Sickle Cell community.[/vc_column_text]
Let’s show our newborn Warriors that we are a great resource for Kern County’s Sickle Cell community!
You can help by volunteering to help make the baskets, donating items needed for the basket or making monetary donation.
